Tyzonn begins to have doubts regarding his reunion with his fiance when he finds that she is actually Crazar in disguise. Meanwhile, Mack attacks the Fearcats in the Flash Point Megazord, willing to sacrifice himself to stop Agrios. The Rangers eventually defeat Agrios. The Fearcats try to escape with the Octavian Chalice, but the Rangers show up ready to finish the battle. This was the first and only series to have a completely non-living Ranger as part of the main team.
Moltor then battles Tyzonn to show him what happens to traitors. Rose, Dax and Will race over and join the battle. Moltor is about to strike Tyzonn, when Mack leaps in and pushes Tyzonn to safety.
Production Information
Bullox instructs the Lavadactyls to go find the diamond in the crater. Inside his volcano lair, Moltor is happy with his success. Meanwhile, Ronny, rose, Dax, and Will enter the Control Center. Ronny tells them they have searched everywhere in the woods and cannot find Mack or the alien. Mr. Hartford tells them Mack does not want to be found, as he has turned off his Tracker.
The Octavian Chalice holds the power to uncover the final jewel to the crown. Flurious destroys Moltor and steals the crown and gets his hands on the jewels as well. Now with the power of the Corona Aurora at his disposal, Flurious freezes all of San Angelas. In a desperate attempt to save the world, Mack sacrifices himself to destroy Flurious once and for all. The Sentinel Knight appears and uses the Corona Aurora to bring Mack back to life. As Mack awakens, he realizes that thanks to the crown, he is now human.
Production
Although Hartford is originally opposed to it, his son Mack becomes the fifth team member - the Red Ranger. In the process, they encounter the illustrious Miratrix, who is determined to find the jewels and free her master Kamdor. In his ice cave, Flurious laughs with glee. Norg comes sliding down and wants to know what is so funny.
Mercury Ranger and Crazar continue with their battle. Crazar tells him he will never find Vella without her, but Mercury Ranger knows he can do it without Crazar. In the Control Center, Mr. Hartford is worried about the Rangers. The BattleFleet Zords are sent out and the battle continues. The five Rangers form the BattleFleet Megazord. The battle continues to be difficult for the Rangers.
Number of episodes:
Its the penultimate episode before three end game episodes and continuing fifth jewel of Corona Aurora arc. Elsewhere, Miratrix admires the jewel. Kamdor reminds her there is still four more jewels and the crown for them to get.
But Mack feels there is something more to Tyzonn. Face to Face is the two-part episode and the eleventh and twelfth episodes of Power Rangers Operation Overdrive. This two parter episodes finished second jewel of Corona Aurora arc. They would later returned morphed in the Power Rangers Super Megaforce episode "Legendary Battle".
Power-Up and Team Blaster
Spencer reminds Andrew of when he was a boy and lost an important game. Andrew had thrown his glove in the trash. Spencer retrieve it and gave it back to Andrew. Andrew went back to playing baseball. Andrew realizes Spencer is right and wants him to contact Will to give him back his Tracker.
Rose is still puzzling over the location of the jewels. Mack suggests they watch their adventures on the screen again. After the scenes end, Tyzonn pins up the location of the fourth jewel. Rose is very frustrated as the locations seem to be random. The teens watch footage of their last adventure which includes the destruction of the Fearcats and them obtaining the Octavian Chalice. Rose stands back as her friends gather around Spencer and begin devouring his sandwiches.
In the midst of the battle, Tyzonn drops a bag, and some pieces fall out of it. Tyzonn is upset and grabs the pieces and quickly puts them back in his bag. They fight over the parchment and Mack tears a small piece of the parchment off. Rose and Dax are knocked off their feet by Bullox.
Moltor wants to give the Fearcats invisible armor and have them destroy the Rangers. Moltor gives them a map with the location of the armor. Red Ranger has a difficult time, although the Fearcats think Red Ranger is more annoying than the others.
